Gracie Pitman is a filmmaker based between New York City and Oklahoma City whose work blends surrealist horror with the haunted textures of the American South. Through myth and atmosphere, her films confront systems of violence and belief. Her latest short, 9 Lines of Soluble Fish, mixed in Dolby Atmos, is beginning its festival run. She is in production on The Birthday, a horror set on a rural Oklahoma farm, and developing her debut feature, Three Lives.
